What
Is Replacement Theology - Part 3
October 6, 2008
As I mentioned in Part 2 of this series on Replacement Theology, understanding the Lord's controversy with Zion is tantamount to knowing how God views the present day Middle East, the Israeli state and the surrounding Arab states, particularly the Palestinians; more importantly, how the Church fits into all this. Part II of the Controversy of Zion is a continuation of the last article on Replacement Theology, which I urge you to read with an open mind before you completely reject what I am sharing about this bogus theology.
Many in the Church have accepted this unbiblical concept as the truth without doing any personal study of the Word. They have grabbed onto it because the pretribulation theologians and Zionist have made it a popular theory. Replacement theology is bogus because nothing can replace the Judah Church, which has been in the world since the day of Pentecost. It is the good figs of the Fig Tree that inherit the spiritual and physical blessing of Abraham; however, the kingdom that Jesus sets up when He returns will be much larger than the tiny piece of real estate today called the land of Israel.
When the dust settles on the Great Tribulation; the Battle of Armageddon fought and won by the Lord; and the Day of the Lord is over (the mopping up job), the land of Israel will be largely destroyed as well as the old city of Jerusalem. The Kingdom Age will be a rebuilding process beginning in the Middle East.
I could spent weeks on the Controversy of Zion, but do not have the time and I doubt many of you could stay with it, so I am giving you the brief version.
The
Controversy of Zion
– Part II
January 30, 2008h
By Dr. Allen M. Barber
Isaiah 34:8 KJV
8 For it is the day of the LORD's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
In Part I, we showed how God has passed the debt note for sin and disobedience among the nations, which was inherited from Adam who originally had the birthright and dominion over planet earth. We also looked at legal chosenness and actual chosenness, which is the root of all the confusion over the secular state of Israel and the Jewish race.
Concerning sin, only one person is capable of removing the debt note and that is Jesus. However, among the nations, God chose Israel to bear fruit of righteousness as a light to the Gentiles, but failed miserably. As a consequence, God judged them and passed the debt note to their oppressors, temporarily relieving them of the authority and responsibility. Then for a brief period, God passed it to Great Britain who controlled the land of Palestine.
Beginning in 1917, God began to pass the Debt note back to Israel by Lord Balfour’s (a crypto Jew) declaration to give the Jews a homeland in Palestine. In late 1947, Great Britain released the Debt Note by UN treaty giving Palestine to the Jews and Palestinians. This was immediately followed by the Jews declaring their independence and establishing an independent state called Israel, which is illegal by Torah mandate – the Old Testament Law.
To say that the Israeli state is illegal upsets the majority of evangelical Christians who have no concept of why it is illegal according to the Scriptures nor do they have any understanding of the real history behind the Zionist State – that it a Rothschild creation. God did not create modern Israel, although he allowed it for the purpose of fulfilling a dual prophecy to the House of Israel and the House of Esau.
Though I may sound arrogant, it is not my intent, as I am trying to teach the Church the truth about the end-time involving Israel and the Church, as I was blinded by dispensational theology for 25 years. I had to ask the Lord to forgive me for teaching false doctrine to the saints, not intentionally, but due to denominational ignorance and blindness. If you are one reading this article and you have been led to believe that Zionist Israel is the chosen nation and the Jews are the chosen people, then you are bound by religious tradition as I was for many years. I encourage you to be open-minded and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you the truth about the modern state of Israel.
In order to fully understand God’s controversy with Zion, we must go back and review the Scriptures that define the controversy. Most Christians know the story of Jacob and Esau as recorded in Genesis 27 - the history of the struggle between the descendents of Jacob and Esau (Israelites and Jews and their cousins – the Arabs). How many even know the difference between a Jew and an Israelite, and in addition, who is an Arab? While this is not the topic for our discussion today, may I say that Iraqis, Iranians, and Egyptians are not technically Arabs. They are from the lineage of Ham, but an Iranian will correct you if you refer to him as an Arab. He will quickly tell you he is a Persian. The same with an Egyptian, he does not like to be called an Arab, but an Egyptian. Ishmael’s mother, Hagar (Abraham’s illegitimate wife), was an Egyptian, not an Arab. Put the word “Arab” in your Bible software word studies and the word is not found except one place – Joshua 15:52 and it is the name of a city in Judah. Arab technically refers to a mixed race of people living in the Arabian Peninsula. Therefore, the Saudi Arabians are Arabs in the true sense of the Word. In contrast, the Palestinians are a mixed group of people descended from Esau, Ishmael, and the other Hamite nations. The Palestinians have Babylonian, Persian, Egyptian, Jewish, etc. blood in their ancestral bloodline. The concept they are the modern day Philistines is not supported by history. The Philistines were totally wiped out and today do not exist, as were the Jebusites, Hittites, Hivites, etc.
Now getting back to the subject of today’s article; in order to fully understand why modern Israel is an illegal state not recognized by God except to fulfill the prophecy to Jacob and Esau as recorded in Genesis 27:39-41 (that there would come a day when Esau would break Jacob’s yoke from his neck), we need to understand what is involved with the birthright and the dominion mandate. What we are witnessing in the Middle East is the fulfillment of this prophecy with more to come.
As mentioned, Adam was given both the birthright (fruitfulness) and dominion mandate and we see this in Genesis 1:26:
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. KJV
Dominion means to rule. God intended for Adam and his descendents to rule the earth – Adam was to be king over the earth under God’s sovereignty. However, we know the sad story of Adam’s fall into to sin and in so doing, he lost the dominion mandate, which was given to the usurper – Satan. We know this from the Lord’s temptation in Luke 4: 5-8:
5 And he led Him up and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said to Him, "I will give You all this domain and its glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. 7 "Therefore if You worship before me, it shall all be Yours." 8 And Jesus answered and said to him, "It is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.' NASB.
Since Adam's fall, both Jews and Gentiles have tried to rule the earth, but have only brought oppression, violence, suffering and death to mankind. Adam was originally created in the image of God making his rule a proper form of government, but after he fell into sin, his sin nature became the dominant power. Rulers today are controlled by their sin nature; even Christian rulers often get into pride and fail to be good rulers. This is why Jesus told Pilate that His kingdom was not of this world, for world rulers are under the authority of Satan. The New World Order will be the climax of Satan’s rule on earth as he has tried through many successive human rulers to establish his empire. While Satan hates God’s creation, he is more than willingly to use mankind to regain control of the earth. Stealing the dominion mandate from Adam did not mean he has full reign to do as he pleases. Like Adam, Satan is under the tutelage of God and has restraints. For example, in the battle for Job’s allegiance, Satan was not allowed to kill him.
The divine law of God was not fully understood until given to Moses on Mount Sinai. From Adam to Moses, men lived by oral tradition passed from God to Adam and to Adam’s descendents. When God asked Cain in Genesis 4:4-5 why he was mad at Him for rejecting his offering, the implication is that Cain knew the law of blood sacrifice, but rejected it. The reason God accepted Abel’s offering was because it was a “blood” offering.” Where did Abel get the idea to bring God a blood sacrifice offering – from his father Adam? When Adam sinned, God killed an animal and clothed them to cover their nakedness, which symbolically proved they lost their righteous standing before God no longer having any righteousness of their own (they were not created sinful – the dispensationalists say they were created innocent; no they were created in the image of God who is perfect righteousness). The law then from Adam to Moses was passed orally to the next Generation. By the time of Noah, much like today, the world had forgotten all about God’s Law of a blood sacrifice to cover their sins and became a lawless generation. Their deeds were enormously wicked prompting God to destroy the earth with a flood. The world today has for the most part ignored God’s laws and is living as if there is no God and no judgment to come.
While we normally ascribe the first commandment the worship and adoration of God, it also implies that earthly rulers were to rule under God’s divine laws, not by their own inclinations. They were to rule according to the revelation of God’s Word. King David, though he committed terrible sin, largely ruled the united kingdom of Israel by divine revelation, which is seen in the many Psalms he wrote as well in the historical records – the books of Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles.
The divine rule for Kings to follow is seen in Deuteronomy 1: 16-17 where God shows Moses how to delegate authority, but in Verse 17, He says, “The judgment is God’s”:
16 "Then I charged your judges at that time, saying, 'Hear the cases between your fellow countrymen, and judge righteously between a man and his fellow countryman, or the alien who is with him. 17 'You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not fear man, for the judgment is God's. NASB.
Rulers are not to be dictators and tyrants and we understand this from the Lord’s discourse to His disciples in Luke 22: 24-30:
The dominion mandate involving rulership is to use authority to serve others, which Jesus exemplified in His First Advent. The government of God upon the earth is one of servanthood – to serve others under Gods’ direction. This is why we need a Christian president in this nation. However, our laws have been changed over the years, and as a nation, we no longer follow the divine law, but man’s law. This is why it is difficult for a Christian to be president of the United States as he is surrounded by a secular Congress and a deistic Constitution. Those who rule in God’s sight are those who love and serve others. Adam was to have ruled as a servant under God’s direction. Had he not sinned and rebuked both Satan and his wife for calling God a liar, God would have established the human race under Adam without sin; however, it would appear, in His legal righteousness, that God could have destroyed both Eve and Satan. Then there would have been a second Eve, instead of a second Adam.
This is how the dominion mandate came to be and how it has passed to rulers in successive generations. We know from the Scriptures that God gave the tribe of Judah the dominion mandate from which Messiah would come. By God’s decree, Jesus is the rightful ruler over Israel and the nations:
Genesis 49:8-12 NASB
8 "Judah,
your brothers shall praise you;
Your hand shall be on the neck of your enemies;
Your father's sons shall bow down to you.
9 "Judah
is a lion's whelp;
From the prey, my son, you have gone up.
He couches, he lies down as a lion,
And as a lion, who dares rouse him up?
10 "The scepter shall not
depart from Judah,
Nor the ruler's staff from between his feet,
Until Shiloh
comes,
And to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.
11 "He ties his foal to the vine,
And his donkey's colt to the choice vine;
He washes his garments in wine,
And his robes in the blood of grapes.
12 "His eyes are dull from wine,
And his teeth white from milk.
The tribe of Judah does not have the birthright, that was reserved for the tribes of Joseph through Ephraim and Manasseh or the northern ten tribes. Only the tribe of Joseph has the birthright and the right to call itself Israel. In addition, Israel is under the Iron Yoke (Deut. 28:48), which forbids the Jews from returning to the land to establish a nation or kingdom without repentance and acceptance of Jesus as Messiah.
However, this is all fitting into God's plan to complete the judgment upon the House of Jacob–Judah and Esau–Edom. Today modern Israel is a mixture of Jews and Edomites as the House of Esau was conquered by the tribe of Judah and made to conform to Judaism in about 126 B.C:
During the time of the Hasmonean ruler John Hyrcanus, Judea conquered Edom (which the Romans called Idumea) and forced the Edomites to convert to Judaism.
The Edomites were integrated into the Jewish people. (Wikipedia Encyclopedia).
Many mistake the book of Obadiah as a prophecy calling for the destruction of the Palestinians whom they equate with Edom, when it deals with the modern illegal state of Israel - modern Edom. If you think I am all wet, then read what the Jewish Encyclopedia stated in 1925 about the existence of Ashkenazi Jews who represented approximately 90% of world Jewry, with the startling admission that the so-called enemy of the Jews, Esau (also know as Edom, see Genesis 36:1), now actually represents the Jewish race. On page 42, Volume V, it states:
Edom is in modern Jewry.
If the book of Obadiah is about the destruction of the Edomites, then it is also about the destruction of the illegal state of Israel. The only way the Jews will escape the destruction coming upon the House of Jacob-Esau is not to immigrate to the land of Israel. Christian Zionists do not realize that by supporting the illegal state of Israel, they are playing the part of Judas who betrayed Jesus.
God bless you.

P.S. Giving credit where it is due, for a fuller treatment of this article, go to Dr. Stephen Jones website at www.gods-kingdom.org and order his book on the “Birthright.” It will open your eyes to what is really going on in the Middle East – I guarantee you. When I read the book, I was amazed at how much history and biblical truth concerning modern Israel I didn’t know.
